The theory of Smart city and the flexible city found their achievement in different pillars which can be connected between each other giving rise to a vision of city, at every step, more and more concrete.

 

Our analysis shows that two main factor are essential to define a city as Smart: ETHERO-ORGANIZATION and REVERSIBILITY.

 

On the one hand the free expression of population supports variety and interactivity of environment, but it affects measured exploitation of lands of their resources.

 

On the other hand the government and its rules undermindes the natural change of urban tissue.

 

For this reason the state of balance is represented by the equal involvement of the parts, like in the Elemental’s project.

 

The concept of reversibility is linked to the ethero-organisation and find its expressions in the same equal involvement.
